Nestled amidst the picturesque polder landscape, De Dyck is a haven for sustainable meetings and corporated gatherings. Here, guests can unwind and focus on their business in the tranquil ambiance of the meeting rooms or outdoor terraces, while savoring the culinary delights of the Dutch countryside. 

Originally, De Dyck was a farm and arable farming business. The location revolves around its own 0.5-hectare vegetable garden and the surrounding fields. All the delicious food served during meetings is sourced locally and fresh from the farm. In addition to its charming meeting rooms, De Dyck also features a restaurant that has been awarded a Green Michelin Star.

For over five years, De Dyck has relied on MICE Operations to streamline its event management processes. Suzanne van Egmond, the venue's dedicated contact for all corporate bookings, has been involved since the beginning. ‘’I have been with De Dyck for over 7.5 years. In the past, we used outdated methods, creating proposals in Word documents. It was time for a professional proposal and CRM system. As a partner location of Meetables, we discovered MICE and it proved to be an invaluable asset. We immediately saw the additional possibilities it offered, such as the ability to quickly generate professional proposals and maintain clear follow-up communication. In recent years, it has become increasingly important to convey our message through visuals. Development over the years

Over the years, MICE has undergone continuous development, introducing many new features to the system. ‘’We have ongoing communication with MICE about this, and it actually works both ways," Suzanne explains. ‘’We have had the opportunity to test new features and provide feedback on improvements or desired functionalities that are not yet available." 

‘’Personal contact is still very important to me", says Suzanne. “In addition to creating proposals, our client increasingly seek our input on the possibilities for their event. I can quickly and easily tailor proposals, but I also enjoy offering personalized advice on options available at our venue. Selecting the right photos and videos that align with the specific request creates a positive first impression. Another great feature of MICE is that I can prepare standard messages per type of event, which can then be personalized for each client with just a few clicks.’’

Suzanne continues, ‘’Not only does MICE work seamlessly for client communication, but it also streamlines our internal processes. We can access all information within a single system. We also rely on the task management feature in MICE. We actually use this as a kind of logbook or handover tool to track all aspects of an event. Per booking, we can view the event status via the task overview and know exactly what needs to be done.
